After identifying a clear problem space, I conducted extensive research to establish a strong knowledge base, including SWOT analysis, which confirmed the uniqueness of my concept. I focused on the web3 space and potential users, discovering many had their images taken without consent, with influencers being a key demographic for monetizing content while offering brands an easy way to access and purchase it.
With two defined user groups and a clear problem space, I explored backend considerations like choosing an environmentally friendly blockchain and addressing web3 issues like anonymity potentially enabling illegal activity. My aim was to mitigate as many challenges as possible, even within web3's inherent limitations.
Additionally, I tackled problems specific to selling photos, such as allowing influencers to block certain buyers, simplifying web3 for unfamiliar users, and translating technical jargon into accessible language. I also designed an onboarding process to be intuitive for non-web3 users. Committed to transparent, user-friendly UI, I incorporated user testing and wrote a web3 proposal addressing these concerns comprehensively.
